Recently I was lucky enough to join a handful of other agents from Victoria & New South Wales on an amazing 6 days in Beautiful Fiji.
We began our trip with a night at the Outrigger Fiji beach Resort – a beautiful property great for couples & families located on the Coral Coast where we were treated to a traditional Fijian dinner ceremony. Next was the amazing Nanuku Auberge Resort, just an hour away at Pacific Harbour – a very exclusive and boutique property where we were made to feel like royalty.
The next two days of our trip were spent staying in the Mamanuca islands, a combination of luxury and family friendly resorts with the most picturesque of settings – where we also managed to squeeze in a spot of snorkelling. After being absolutely spoilt by the beautiful locals we headed back to the main island of Viti Levu to experience the always popular Denarau resorts.
First up was the Westin; an amazing property ideal for couples only a short ride on the ‘Bula Bus’ away from the bustling Denarau Marina area. After inspecting the numerous resorts in this area and experiencing all they have to offer for all demographics, we finished up our stay at the newly re-opened Doubletree by Hilton, formerly the Sonaisali Island Resort, a short drive from Denarau area within 20 minutes of Nadi Airport.
Having never had the opportunity to visit Fiji I am now a massive advocate for this destination for a variety of travellers. This stunning country, along with it’s beautiful people make it an ideal destination for families, couples and anyone who wants a relaxing getaway not so far away from home. If Fiji isn’t on your bucket list – I definitely encourage you to include it on yours!
